In India Retail sector is mainly divided into three sub sectors, namely Organized Retail, Unorganized Retail and E-Commerce. According to IBEF, from the beginning of this century, organized sector is growing rapidly; it   reached US$ 950 billion in 2018 at CAGR of 13 per cent and is expected to reach US$ 1.1 trillion by 2020. Online retail sales were forecast to grow 31 per cent y-o-y to reach US$ 32.70 billion in 2018. Revenue generated from online retail is projected to reach US$ 60 billion by 2020. Moreover the Indian E-commerce market is expected to grow to US$ 200 billion by 2026 from US$ 38.5 billion as of 2017. So, in a very good situation for retail industry the economy is interrupted by Covid-19 Pandemic. We have tried to forecast future customer traffic in retail industry across these three sub- sectors.   'Appearances can be deceptive'. We all have heard this proverb time and again. Some of the similar proverbs are 'All that glitters are not gold' or maybe ' Don't judge a book by its cover' and many more. People have realized these proverbs through various perspectives of their lives. But still, at this point, I have just come across another such perspective. A subconscious mind is very powerful.   Throughout the previous year we are hearing news about protest in Hong-Kong against Chinese aggression. One thing I observed here that the government is not taking as drastic steps against the protesters as it takes against any kind of protest in mainland China. Why is it so? Why Chinese army, PLA is not coming to Hong-Kong? To, analyze these questions we need to look back to history. It was a former British colony, it was ruled by British government from 1841 to 1997.
